On this trip we start with an exploration of Crooked Tree Wildlife Sanctuary, the top neotropical birding site in Belize. We'll learn about the inland wildlife, conservation movements, and visit a Mayan ruin. We then move to our completely private island basecamp on Lighthouse Reef Atoll, a remote tropical marine park 55 miles offshore from the mainland that is managed by the Belize Audubon Society. From here we can paddle and sail kayaks, fish, swim and snorkel, go birding and beachcombing, and try the fun new sport of stand up paddleboarding (SUP). No experience necessary, the guides will make sure you learn what you need to know to stay safe and have fun. $2695 Rating: 4 5
